| Ordo Templari keep the ranks disciplined and orderly by imposing laws upon themselves. In cases where a sworn Templari commits a crime in nations allied to the Templari, the local law will be respected and Templari specific punishment will be administered accordingly. If the crime is commited in an enemy nation, we will bring the Templari home to face our own justice. For lesser crimes, a Templari officer has the right to be the judge and executioner on the spot. For more serious crimes, the Grandmaster will act as judge. Offenses subject to Templari punishment
- Vandalism
- Slander
- Theft
- Dishonouring Templari name
- Insubordination
- Assault
- Rape
- Slavery
- Murder
- Treason
Disciplinary actions
- Warning (first offense, minor crime)
- Public humiliation (rotten vegetables, sitting in the block, latrine duty, etc)
- Public Lashing (various amounts of lashes depending on crime)
- Fine (paid to the offended party with in game money depending on level etc)
- Exile (crystal taken back - OOC this would mean kicking from guild)
- Execution (not used in game unless we have something set up with willing parties)
Note that exile would most likely be the consequence when there is no way the character can work with the rest of the guild. That doesn't necessarily mean the player can't bring in some other, better suited, character. There is a difference between IC and OOC when it comes to being kicked from the guild. | |
